Have you ever scrolled down a report with lots of rows only to loose site of the headers and thus the context of the information you were viewing? With the amount of data most of us are working with these days, it’s actually rather common. While there are a number of solutions for the problem, they can be surprisingly difficult to implement – until now.
Our latest APEX plug-in, the SkillBuilders IR Header Float, aims to solve the problem for Interactive Reports. It works by floating the headers at the top of the screen if the user scrolls past them. Then, if the user scrolls back up, the headers are placed back at their original positions.

Patrick,
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm sure it will need some tweaks but the first release was long overdue...

Dan,
ReplyDeletePretty slick, especially on the newer laptops with the HD-style aspect ratio (which makes for very short pages!).
Thanks Stew!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait for Apex 4.0 to be rolled out here at work so we can use it.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
